Thinking
about
swimming
year-around
?
Give us
a try
and
you'll
be
hooked !
Swimming is
a great
year-round
sport that
teaches many
life long
lessons
along the
way.
Teamwork,
goal
setting,
self
improvement,
practice,
physical
fitness, and
supportive
friends in a
drug/smoke/steroid
free
environment, are
but a few.
Why
do
kids
and
parents
love
swimming?
-
Nobody sits on the bench. Everybody plays: boys and girls, big and tall, short and small, young and old.
-
There is no better way to get in shape. Swimmers can burn 1500 calories in an hour.
-
Swimmers learn to set goals and manage their time.
-
Success is measured in self improvement. There are no losers.
-
Swimming offers scholarship and job opportunities.
-
The ability to swim can save your life or the life of someone else.
Why
Swim with
Savannah's
Swim Team ?
S ST
is a
parent-owned
and
operated,
not-for-profit
organization
that
has
provided
opportunities
for
swimming
in
Savannah
for
over
30
years!
We
have
training
groups for
any age and
any level of
swimmer,
from
beginner to
advanced:

Within
each

gets
the
same
opportunity
for
success.
There
are
no
attendance
requirements.
By
providing
morning
and
afternoon
practices
to

SST
encourages
swimmers
to

in
other
sports
and

about

a

Read
This !!!
"Our
nation
is
faced
with
with
a
rising
epidemic...childhood
obesity.
A
sedentary
lifestyle
is a
key
factor.
I'm
quite
impressed
by
the
Savannah
Swim
Team's
commitment
to
health
and
fitness.
SST
provides
an
accessible,
safe
and
nurturing
environment
that
promotes
physical
and
emotional
growth
for
children
of
all
ages.
Swimmers
are
healthier
and
they
perform
better
academically
than
their
non-swimming
peers.
That's
why
my
kids
swim
with
SST."
