The Savannah Swim Team, founded in 1962, is a non-profit organization whose missions are:

To provide an opportunity for all children to engage in the sport of swimming.
To promote involvement in USA swimming programs and provide opportunities for sanctioned competition.
To provide training in physical fitness and good patterns of physical development and conditioning.
To provide opportunities for social, emotional, educational, and character development, and to encourage participation in team and community activities.
To promote the sport of swimming to the community.
